Hi! I'm Lizzy! I am the owner of Lizzy Lou's Waxing in Scottsdale, Arizona. At Lizzy Lou’s Waxing, we specialize in men and women’s eyebrows waxing, women’s bikini waxing, and full body waxing. I have been a licensed aesthetician for over 15 years. I am known to be a true perfectionist in my craft. I strive to make my clients feel beautiful and valued. Lizzy Lou's Waxing uses HARD wax only. This benefits the client by being used for sensitive skin and is less painful.

Due to inflation, supplies & wax cost increase; in order to maintain the quality of products and services I am providing, I have to adjust pricing accordingly. This change will be effective starting May 1, 2024.

Eyebrow Wax & Shaping $24
Get that perfect shape or the "natural" look you desire! Lizzy will have a consultation with you before performing the waxing service. She will educate you on your specific brow shape and strive to make you feel extremely comfortable.
Woman's Bikini Line $40
This includes four fingers from the crease of your panty line into the inner thigh.
Woman's Bikini Front $52
This includes bikini line and as much or as little of the front of your pubic area.
Woman's Brazilian $57
This includes bikini front plus the "backside strip".

All clients must go on the Vagaro app (click the "book online" button) to book their appointments. Fill out the waxing consent form and provide a valid credit card.
This credit card will not be charged unless in the event of a no show or appointment cancelled within a 24 hour period per our policy. Invalid or expired credit cards will be mailed an invoice. Clients are unable to come back to Lizzy Lou’s Waxing until the invoice is paid in full.

LATE POLICY: Most appointments are in 15-minute intervals. Please text or call Lizzy if you are running more than 5 minutes late. If you are 10 minutes late, please contact Lizzy and know that your appointment may have to be cancelled or rescheduled. If your appointment is rescheduled or cancelled due to being late, know that you will be charged 100% of scheduled services missed per our no-show policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please give Lizzy a minimum of 24-hour notice for any appointment changes. This also helps to give other clients the opportunity to book. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled same day of appointment will be charged 50% of scheduled services. (Unless cancelled or rescheduled within 1 hour of your appointment, which will result in a no-show fee per the no show policy.)
NO SHOW POLICY: No shows or clients who do not show up for their appointment will result in 100% cost in the services scheduled. This includes appointments not kept within 1 hour of scheduled appointment time.
MENSTURATION POLICY: You can still wax if you are menstruating. We ask that you please have a clean tampon or vaginal cup inserted. We understand that not everyone is comfortable with waxing during this time but please be as mindful as possible and plan accordingly. Canceling due to menstruation within the cancellation period will result in a fee per cancellation/ or no-show policy.
EMERGENCIES: We understand that emergencies happen. If a true emergency has occurred please call or text Lizzy ASAP. If a pattern or reoccurring cancellations occurs, know that the service provider has the right to discontinue the business relationship at any time. Thank you for your understanding of my time and value.

frequently asked questions
"I'm super nervous! Is there anything I can do to prepare myself and skin for my wax?"
Yes. Exfoliation will help remove any dead skin cells and help prepare your skin for the wax. Do not exfoliate the day of your appointment. Use whatever products you may have at home and when you come in for your appointment I will educate you on what products will work best for your skin type.
It is also said that you can take Advil before your wax. I personally believe that Advil is not necessary because of my technique and speed. I promise you will feel extremely comfortable during your appointment.

How long does the hair have to be if I usually shave?
Its best to have the hair the length of a grain of rice. If you can wait 7-14 days after shaving, that is ideal. The longer you wait the better the wax will be, so no trimming is necessary.

I was planning on tanning the day of my wax. Is that okay?
It is recommended NO spray tanning, tanning or sun the day of your wax before or after. Wait till the next day to spray tan or the day prior to your wax.

Can I work out after my wax?
I always recommend to work out prior to your waxing appointment rather then after. When I wax, I will be opening the pore and when you work out, your are inviting bacteria into the pore and are at a greater chance for breakouts and ingrown hairs.

Are there any medications I can't wax on?
YES. There are medications that you may not be able to wax with or must discontinue up to 7 - 10 days before waxing. Prior to your appointment there will be a full list of medications that can alter your waxing experience. The top medication that you CANNOT wax on or at least 12 months after discontinuing is Accutane. This medication affects the blood stream therefore one cannot get any body part waxed when on the medication and 12 months after discontinuing.
Here are some of the top medications/creams that one must stop 7-10 days prior to for facial waxing: Retin-A, Differen, Epiduo, Tretinoin, and Clindamycin. This not a full list but the most common medications/creams.

What if I'm on those medications and have not discontinued them but want to get my eyebrows waxed?
Although we cannot wax you, a great option is for me to tweeze and trim your eyebrows. I promise to do my best to make it look just as clean as waxing!

How old do I have to be in order to be able to get waxed?
At Lizzy Lou's Waxing, you must be at least 18 years old to receive any waxing services. If you are under 18, your parent/ legal guardian will fill out the minor release section on the waxing consent form that you will fill out upon making your first appointment. Please note that Lizzy Lou's Waxing LLC will not perform bikini front, brazilian, butt full/strip services, and nipple services for minors. However, we can perform the bikini line service. Thank you for your understanding.
